All Region Team

Congratulations to Grace Kiser, Bailey McCachren, Sadie Waters, and Morgan Watson on being named to the 5-7A All Region Softball team. The four represented FCHS very well on the field this past year. We would also like to acknowledge the following for their academic achievements as they were named to the All Region Academic Team:

Softball Seeding

Two big games for the Bulldogs this week as seeding for the State Softball Championships will be determined. Tuesday we travel to South Forsyth and Thursday we  host North Forsyth, first pitch 5:30 for both.

Extra Innings Win

Softball had to go 10 innings before defeating West Forsyth in a well played game by both sides. See the link below with details of the game from the FCN.

Pink Out Tournament

Thank you to all the youth teams that particpated in this past Saturday’s Pink Out Tournament. Our FCSH Softball team was able to donate a check of $3,500 to the Northside Hospital Women’s Center.

Softball Tops North

Our Softball team moved to 2-0 in the region last night with a 7-3 victory over North Forsyth. See the link below for details from the FCN:

Softball Defeats South

Our Lady Bulldogs defeated South Forsyth in the Region opener for both teams 3-2. See the story from FCN below. Thursday night we take on the North Forsyth Raiders at home, first pitch 5:00. 

GADC Tournament

The Forsyth Central Softball team competed in the 2017 GADC Leadoff classic over the weekend.  On Friday night, Forsyth Central blew out Lovett 7-1. The Bulldogs scored three runs in the third inning. Morgan Watson led the team with two runs batted in. She went 2-for-3 on the day. Forsyth Central tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least
