The Varsity Girls Lacrosse team defeated Mt. Pisgah February 12th 21-11. It was a team effort with 9 different players scoring. The leading scorers were Hailey Ririe with 7, Avery Jennings with 5, and Bella Selander and Alexa Zaharchak with 2. Alex Brunson, Morgan Carr, Holland Moon, Anna Nevilla and Lauren Sabo all scored 1.

The Forsyth Central Girl’s lacrosse team played a strong game against MLK High School on March 8th, 2018. MLK came onto the bulldog’s field with aggression and speed, but their play was matched by Central. Central dominated with skilled passes and shots causing MLK to crumble and Central to come away with a 13-4 win.

Conditioning for girls lacrosse will continue Monday through Thursday 4-5 after school until tryouts on January 22. Tryouts will be on the turf from 4-6. The girls lacrosse team volunteered at the Holiday House at the Place of Forsyth Tuesday. The Holiday House is a community initiative to provide Christmas cheer and gifts to needy children in Forsyth County. The girls helped organize thousands of toys and gifts, and cleaned and decorated the rooms so that families can start shopping
